Project: Children Circus
Cross cultural regional project of the Israel Circus School
In collaboration with the European Union.

Timetable of events:

Stage 1.

• June 2003, Jewish Arab Children Circus Project begins. Classes and interviews with prospective student participants.
• July 2003, 13^th until 18^th first intensive workshop and auditions for Children Circus.
• August 2003, 24^th until 29^th intensive workshops and second auditions.
• September2003, regular classes Tuesdays 16.30 hrs until 19.30 hrs and Fridays 15.00 hrs until 18.00 hrs. Acrobatics and circus skills classes.

Stage 2.

• October 2003, 11^th to 18^th, Sukkoth. Performance work of Children Circus in Akko Festival.
• November 2003, regular classes.
• December 2004, 20^th until 27^th Hanukkah event in Han Shakarut. Desert workshops with Bedouin children and Children Circus.
• January and February 2004, Special skills workshops in clowning and juggling and acrobatics.
• March 2004, special Purim event, with the Free-Dome Circus tent in Bin-Yamina.

Stage 3.

• April 2004, 7^th and 8^th a Special Gala event in to present the first showing of the "Lion and the Leopard". With support acts of International Clowns from the World Clown Association (Sponsors of the Children Circus), also local professional performers in Circus Arts. 13^th until 20^th travel to Cyprus with Children Circus.

• May 2004, 26^th until 28^th Shavuot, final showing of "Lion and Leopard" and the conclusion of E.U project.
